My week and Today
This page is for support workers. It covers the day strip, the visit list, the words and marks that say how a visit is going, and how to open one.
The day strip
Section titled “The day strip”On a phone, “My week” shows one day at a time. Across the top is a strip of seven buttons, one per day, each showing the weekday and the date.
- Tap a day to see that day’s visits.
- The day you are looking at is filled in dark.
- Today’s date is underlined when you are looking at a different day.
The week starts on the day your organisation has set. Use the arrows at the top of the page to move to the previous or next week, and the middle button to come back to this week. The line under the heading gives the week’s dates and says “This week” when you are on it.
On a screen wider than a phone the same week is drawn as seven columns with a small chip for each visit.
The visit list
Section titled “The visit list”Each row on a phone shows:
- the start time, with the end time underneath
- the client’s photo and name
- the client’s address
- a small mark on the right when the visit has been started or finished
If there is nothing on the day you are looking at, the page says “Nothing on this day.” If there is nothing all week it says “No visits published for this week.”
What the marks and words mean
Section titled “What the marks and words mean”On “My week”, a visit you have checked out of carries a tick, and a visit you are inside carries an arrival mark. Visits you have not started yet carry no mark.
On “Dashboard”, under “Today”, every visit carries a badge:
| Badge | What it means |
|---|---|
| Next | The visit you are heading to. It is the first one today you have not finished whose end time has not passed. |
| Later | Still to come today, after the next one. |
| Late 20 min | Fifteen minutes past the start with nobody checked in, counting up from the start time. Shown in red, and the office has been told. |
| Arrived | You have checked in and not yet checked out. Shown in amber. |
| Delivered | You have checked in and checked out. The row is greyed. |
| Missed | The planned end time has passed and nobody checked in. Shown in red. |
Late and missed are always the red ones, wherever they appear.
A visit runs late fifteen minutes after its start time with nobody checked in. That is when your own list starts saying so, and when the office is told, unless a coordinator has set a different number of minutes. See Checking in and out.
Opening a visit
Section titled “Opening a visit”If the office wrote a note for this visit, it is the first thing on the sheet, marked “From the office”: what the visit is for, or what is different today.
- Tap the row (on a phone) or the chip (on a larger screen).
- The visit sheet opens with the client’s details, the task list, the medicines and the check in or check out button.
- Close it with the close button in the corner, or by tapping outside it.
On a screen wider than a phone, “Today” also has an “Open” button on the right of each row.
Everything you record inside the sheet saves as you go. There is no separate save button for the visit.
