What WholeVisit does not claim
This page is for registered managers and anyone assessing WholeVisit. It covers what the platform is not, and what it does not do for you.
Trust is easier to earn by saying what is not there yet. These are the same three points the WholeVisit front page makes, and they are the ones people most often assume the other way round.
It is not on the NHS Assured Solutions List
Section titled “It is not on the NHS Assured Solutions List”WholeVisit is not on the assured supplier list for digital social care records.
If you are funded on the condition of using an assured supplier, or your commissioners require one, check with them before you move. That is a conversation to have first, not afterwards.
It does not complete your DSPT or Cyber Essentials
Section titled “It does not complete your DSPT or Cyber Essentials”The Data Security and Protection Toolkit is yours to complete each year, and so is Cyber Essentials. So is your data protection impact assessment, your sub-processor register and your clinical safety documentation.
WholeVisit gives you the audit trail and the access logs that answer a good many of the questions those ask: who changed what, who read what, when, and what is done about it. It does not answer them for you, and it does not submit anything on your behalf.
WholeVisit does not claim to hold the DSPT, Cyber Essentials or an ISO certification itself.
Some things are on the roadmap, not in the product
Section titled “Some things are on the roadmap, not in the product”Not built yet:
- Invoicing.
- A family portal.
- An offline mode at the door, so a support worker currently needs a signal to record a visit.
Where the claims are checked
Section titled “Where the claims are checked”The platform is audited against what it says about itself, and the rule is that a claim that is not yet true gets made true in the code rather than softened in the copy. If something on this site or the front page does not match what you see on screen, that is a defect. Report it.
