Your profile
This page is for everyone. It covers My profile: your photo, the details this organisation holds about you, where your sign-in name and email come from, and how to change light or dark mode.
Open the account menu (your photo, top right) and choose My profile.
The tabs
Section titled “The tabs”Your page is five tabs, and the one you are on is in the address, so a link from an alert or the command palette can land on the right one:
| Tab | What is on it |
|---|---|
| “Overview” | Your photo, the Details card (name, address, phone, hours) and your role. |
| “Working pattern” | The days you usually work. |
| “On call” | The days you have agreed to be on call, and your stretches. |
| “Leave” | Your allowance, what you have used, and your requests. |
| “Compliance” | Training, DBS, right to work, supervisions and appraisals, with dates. |
Colleagues looking you up see “Overview” only. The roster’s coordinators see all five on everyone. You can read your own Compliance tab; a coordinator records renewals.
Your photo
Section titled “Your photo”Press the camera button on your photo to choose a new one. It replaces whatever was there; there is one photo per person, not a gallery.
Your photo is where your name appears: the rota, the client’s care team, the timeline, the audit trail. It is stored privately and only people in your organisation can see it.
If you have not added one, WholeVisit falls back to the picture on your sign-in account.
Details
Section titled “Details”The Details card holds what the organisation records about you:
- Name. It starts as the name you signed in with, and you can change it. Clearing it falls back to the name on your sign-in account. If you signed up with an email code, that name is read from your email address until you type your own.
- Address.
- Phone number.
- Contracted hours per week.
- Annual leave (days).
You can edit the first three yourself. Press Save, and the card confirms with Saved.
The last two are read-only for you, even on your own record. Contracted hours and leave allowance are employment terms, so a coordinator sets them. Team and roles covers how.
Any blank field reads Not recorded.
The Leave card on the same page shows the dates you are away and how much of your allowance you have used this year, as “X of Y days used this year”.
If you are a support worker the button reads Request leave, and your request waits for a coordinator to approve it. If you are a coordinator it reads Book leave, because you are approving your own. Either way the dialog asks for a reason (holiday, sickness, appointment or other), a first day and a last day.
Leave covers what happens to your visits while you are away.
Light and dark
Section titled “Light and dark”Theme is not on your profile. It is the sun and moon button in the header, and pressing it cycles three settings: light, dark, and whatever your device asks for. It is remembered in that browser.
